Does the digital operating manual replace the paper version?
From 2027, under the EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230: yes, the digital version can be the sole form of provision. On customer request, a paper version must still be delivered within 30 days and at no additional cost. docks reliably handles the digital side.
What does a digital operating manual cost with docks?
docks starts at EUR 129 per month for up to 100 machines (Starter). The Professional package for up to 250 machines with versioning is EUR 369 per month. The Enterprise package for unlimited machines with SSO and API is available on request. A one-time setup fee applies in each case.
How quickly can I get started?
Setup takes less than an hour for the first machine. Create the machine in the admin panel, upload the operating manual as a PDF, print the QR code. From the first scan, the digital operating manual is live and accessible.
Which file formats are supported?
All common formats: PDF, DOCX, HTML, JPG, PNG, MP4 and more. The maximum file size is 50 MB per file. For interactive operating manuals in HTML format, we create individual solutions.
Can I also provide the operating manual as a video?
Yes. Alongside the written manual, you can provide video instructions (MP4, up to 50 MB) in the folder structure. For longer videos, we recommend linking to a video platform in an accompanying document.
